Auxilot

How It Works

Auxilot runs timed online auctions. Business sellers list lots, registered bidders pay a deposit and compete, and the highest bid that meets the reserve wins. Pick your role to see each step.

Register, pay the deposit for the lot you want, then bid manually or set a maximum and let proxy bidding work for you.

01

Create your account

Registration is free. Choose a personal or business account and tell us who you are.

  • Personal accounts give your name, date of birth, nationality, email, phone number, ID type and number, and address. Business accounts also give the company name, registration number, TIN and a contact person.
  • Upload the supporting documents the form asks for, then accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Every sign-in uses your password plus a one-time code (OTP), so nobody can bid in your name with a password alone.
  • One account per person or business.
02

Find a lot

Browse live and upcoming auctions. Each auction groups one or more lots from a seller.

  • Every lot page shows photos, the description, documents, the current bid, the minimum next bid, the closing time and the lot currency.
  • Add lots to your watchlist to follow them from My Account.
  • Each lot is priced in one currency (for example UGX or USD), and you bid in that currency. There is no currency conversion during bidding.
  • Read the description and documents carefully, and ask the seller about inspection before you bid. Lots are sold as seen.
03

Pay the bidding deposit

Each lot needs a refundable deposit before you can bid on it. The amount is shown on the lot page.

  • Pay the deposit through one of the payment options offered for that lot.
  • Bidding opens for you once the deposit is approved. A deposit covers that lot only.
  • If you do not win, the deposit is returned to you within 3–5 days after the auction closes.
  • If you win, the deposit is credited against your invoice, so you only pay the balance.
04

Bid manually or set a maximum

Place a single bid at or above the minimum next bid, or set a proxy (maximum) bid and let the system bid for you.

  • Bid steps depend on the current price and the lot currency. The minimum next bid is always shown before you confirm.
  • A proxy bid raises your bid by one step at a time, only when someone outbids you, up to your maximum. Other bidders never see your maximum.
  • Reserve prices are secret. You will only see whether the reserve has been met. If your maximum covers the reserve, your proxy bids straight up to the reserve.
  • If two bids are for the same amount, the one placed first wins. This applies to manual and proxy bids alike.
  • A bid in the last 5 minutes extends the closing time by 5 minutes, so nobody can win by sniping at the last second.
  • You get an instant alert when you are outbid, an Outbid badge on My Bids, and one reminder near the end if you are not winning.
  • Every bid is a binding offer to buy. Only bid what you intend and are able to pay.
05

Win and pay your invoice

When the auction closes, the highest bid that meets the reserve wins. The winner gets an invoice.

  • The invoice shows the hammer price, the buyer's premium, VAT on the premium at the rate for that market, your deposit credit and the balance due.
  • Pay the balance by the due date on the invoice (currently 3 days after the auction closes), quoting the invoice number as your reference.
  • Unpaid invoices may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
  • If the highest bid does not meet the reserve, the lot is not sold at that price.
06

Collect your lot

Once your payment is confirmed, you arrange collection with the seller.

  • The seller receives the winning bidder's contact details so collection can be arranged. Other bidders stay anonymous to the seller.
  • Inspect the lot when you collect it. Lots are sold as seen.
  • Auxilot does not deliver lots. You may use any transport provider you choose, at your own cost and risk.

Built for Trust

Secret Reserves

Reserve prices are never shown. Bidders only see whether the reserve has been met.

No Last-Second Sniping

A bid in the final 5 minutes adds 5 minutes, and equal bids go to whoever bid first.

Deposits & Invoices

A deposit per lot keeps bidding serious. Winners pay a clear invoice with the deposit already credited.
